Consistent practice is one of the best ways to improve an artist's skill. Join us for our weekly OPEN STUDIO for artists ages 16 & up. Come paint along side artists of various levels and learn from practicing together. Artists have opportunity to paint or draw a head study from a live model, a still life, or bring their own project to work on.
The studio will open on Saturday evenings at 6, you are welcome to come a few minutes early to set up. Artists bring their own materials - oil, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, easel, etc.
Cost is $20 per week or $15 with a student ID. Cost covers model expenses, still life objects (ex. fresh flowers) and studio overhead.

Beginners, hobbyists and recreational artists love this fun, supportive group each Wednesday from 1 - 2:20 pm. These weekly sessions are primarily an open studio concept with each artist working on their own projects in the medium of their choice.
Nancy is available to introduce artists to mediums and processes, and help artists reach their own artistic goals.
Basic materials are available in the studio for artists to try or they can bring their own.
Our FALL SCHEDULE begins August 18, 2025! This fall we have THREE art learning opportunities for our young artists!
AGES 4 and 5 - Preschool Classes
Four and Five year olds now have the opportunity to join us weekly in the studio for art games, activities, and projects! Preschool classes are intended to help preschoolers learn about colors, shapes, textures, and show them how to use these things to make art! It is a great way to prepare your preschooler to join our drawing and painting classes when they turn six!
AGES 6 and UP
Our Art Classes for Kids (ages 6 & up) are a great way for your young artist to learn and grow their creative and artistic skill. We meet weekly to learn basic principles of art and design using drawing and painting projects to reinforce and exercise those principles.

ART HISTORY DISCOVERY CLASSES!
Kids of all ages are invited to attend one or more of these 2 hour classes. Each class focuses on a specific artist in history. We will learn about the artist and study one of their works. Artists will complete an age-appropriate project to help them remember what they learned. A certificate of completion will be distributed to each artist at the end of each session. This fall we will focus on Renaissance painters!

Tuesday evening drawing class (for ages 14 through adult) is a great way to grow your drawing skills and get in regular practice time. Through projects and exercises, instructor John Ball gives expert advice and coaching to increase artist's drawing abilities.
For this drawing class, artists have the option to pay for each class they attend or register to attend each week (at a reduced rate). Click on the registration form below for details.
