Consistent practice is one of the best ways to improve an artist's skill. Join us for our weekly OPEN STUDIO for artists ages 16 & up. Come paint along side artists of various levels and learn from practicing together. Artists have opportunity to paint or draw a head study from a live model, a still life, or bring their own project to work on.
The studio will open on Saturday evenings at 5pm, you are welcome to come a few minutes early to set up. Artists bring their own materials - oil, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, easel, etc.
Cost is $10 per week plus tip for the model. Cost covers model expenses, still life objects (ex. fresh flowers) and studio overhead.

Beginners, hobbyists and recreational artists love this fun, supportive group each Wednesday from 1 - 2:30 pm. These weekly sessions are primarily an open studio concept with each artist working on their own projects in the medium of their choice.
Nancy is available to introduce artists to mediums and processes, and help artists reach their own artistic goals.
Basic materials are available in the studio for artists to try or they can bring their own.

AGES 4 and 5 - Preschool Classes
Four and Five year olds now have the opportunity to join us weekly in the studio for art games, activities, and projects! Preschool classes are intended to help preschoolers learn about colors, shapes, textures, and show them how to use these things to make art! It is a great way to prepare your preschooler to join our drawing and painting classes when they turn six!
AGES 6 and UP
Our Art Classes for Kids (ages 6 & up) are a great way for your young artist to learn and grow their creative and artistic skill. We meet weekly to learn basic principles of art and design using drawing and painting projects to reinforce and exercise those principles.

John Ball is an accomplished art instructor offering classes for teenagers through adults that focus on building strong technical foundations while encouraging individual expression. He teaches in watercolor, oil, acrylic, and charcoal; drawing from extensive professional experience in both studio and observational work. Instruction includes working from reference material, life drawing and painting, plein air studies, and art theory. Students benefit from clear demonstrations, thoughtful critiques, and a supportive learning environment designed to strengthen skills, deepen understanding, and support meaningful artistic growth at every level.
